Sharon

Founder

Originally from Northern Ireland, Dr. Sharon Harrison has lived in Oklahoma for over 25 years and has more than three decades of experience in workforce training. Sharon is the founder and CEO of Harrison Consulting Group, a team that creates and leads industry engagement initiatives for the Oklahoma Manufacturing Association (OMA), the Central Oklahoma Manufacturing Association (COMA), and facilitating workforce programs, research projects, and industry events. She is also the founder of the non-profit Evolving Skills Foundation that addresses employability skills, especially for individuals who are experiencing disadvantaged economic conditions.

Sharon has extensive experience designing skills-based curriculum for major corporations, public sector organizations, and non-profits locally, nationally, and internationally. She has also had significant achievements in grant writing, including a multi-million-dollar federal grant to start and run an industry-led Manufacturing Skills Academy in Oklahoma City, which will train students on employment readiness skills (both interpersonal and life) and technical skills that will be necessary for successful careers in manufacturing.

Sharon has taught college-level courses in supply chain management, management, project management, communications, and adult education. She was recently recognized for her work to help those with disabilities to enter the workforce by being awarded the “Outstanding Business Partner” of the year by the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services. Sharon holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where her research focused on “Perspectives on Skills in Manufacturing.”

Stewart’s work within workforce has focused on carrying out research on workforce development programs and implementing training to increase employee engagement. He has successfully helped companies apply for registered apprenticeship programs by designing programs, sourcing training, and working with the department of labor to ensure completion.

Michelle has extensive experience in facilitation, presentation development, and enhancing organizational knowledge systems.
As Special Projects Coordinator, Michelle leverages her background to manage and execute strategic projects, bringing a solutions-oriented mindset to every initiative. Her ability to bridge communication gaps, design effective solutions, and develop training materials ensures that her projects align with broader organizational goals and contribute to long-term success.

Education Consultant

Nora has worked at the intersection of education and health policy, practice, and program activities including program development, implementation, evaluation, and communications.She successfully works with clients to co-construct programs to meet their needs and goals.


Fred

Cybersecurity and Communication Systems Consultant

Fred is a data analytics and implementation specialist with over 30 years experience in data transfer, cybersecurity and communications systems solutions. He displays strong leadership skills with a focus on team building, mentoring, and success to achieve core values and goals. He has a vast amount of Network and SAN design/administration experience, having also worked with Brocade and Cisco fabric switches as well as multiple vendor storage arrays.

Economic Development Consultant

A Certified Economic Developer, through the International Economic Development Council, Judy has a wide range of experience in business and economic development in the Oklahoma and Texas areas. Most recently, Judy has worked as a Manufacturing Extension Agent with the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance. In this role, she connected manufacturers with local, state, regional and national resources, incentives. rebates & grants. Judy’s business research, grant writing, and project management skills have provided a framework for her to partner with her clients and generate positive economic impacts for the manufacturers, their communities, and the state.


Akshay

Engineering Technologist

With a Master’s in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University, Akshay brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. He has excelled as a Graduate Intern at Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance, where his work in automating design processes has driven significant efficiency gains. He has achieved remarkable improvements in inventory management and cost savings in past roles. Certified in Lean principles and skilled in various design and data visualization tools.

Technical Writer

Sadie is a student at Oklahoma Christian University studying English/Writing minoring in Spanish. During the school year, she works as a writing tutor for OC's Writer's Block, where she assists students in idea generation and effective communication. Her strengths include creative writing, editing, and collaboration.

Finance Analyst

Laxmi holds a Master’s in Quantitative Finance from Oklahoma State University and an MBA in Finance, exceling in financial modeling, portfolio management, and financial reporting further complemented by a strong understanding of tax compliance and financial analysis. She will be contributed to tracking grant expenditures, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and providing valuable insights into financial performance.

Registered Apprenticeships Co-ordinator

Theresa has an extensive background in facilitation, process analysis, continuous improvement, organizational development, and program management. She has extensive experience across oil and gas, IT, and manufacturing industries and leverages that expertise to assist companies in designing and administering registered apprenticeship programs. She has a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.


Jonathan

Training & Digital Media Consultant

Jonathan has spent his career in engineering, construction, manufacturing and education in the UK and in Asia. He now uses this experience in designing and developing training programs for business development and social media marketing strategies.
